Closing & Move-In
You’re almost there.
Once escrow is complete and all documents are signed, ownership officially transfers, and you will receive the keys to your new home. But before that final step, there are a few important details to confirm.
Final Walk-Through
Shortly before closing, we’ll complete a final walk-through of the property. This is your opportunity to:
- Confirm agreed-upon repairs were completed
- Ensure the home is in the same condition as when you last viewed it
- Verify that included fixtures and appliances remain
It’s a simple but important final check before signing.
Closing Day
On closing day, you’ll review and sign the final documents with the title company. If you’re financing, your lender will provide the required loan paperwork. Funds are typically wired securely to escrow prior to signing.
We’ll review your settlement statement with you in advance so there are no surprises.
Preparing for Move-In
Before closing, you’ll arrange:
- Utilities and service transfers
- Homeowners insurance (if financing)
- Address updates
